I’m going to give a talk about travelling.
It’s true that most people enjoy travelling a lot. They are interested in travelling because it’s a good chance to discover new places and find out about people who live far away. If we are talking about travelling abroad, it’s the best opportunity to study customs and languages of different countries.
In my opinion, it is definitely much easier to travel nowadays. Even two centuries ago any journey took us a lot of time to get to the destination, for example, a trip from Moscow to Petersburg lasted several days. Today there are many different means of transport, such us planes, trains and cars, which help us to get there much faster. So it is faster and easier to travel now.
As for me I would like to visit the USA or the UK. I’m studying English and I’m sure that a trip there will help me to improve my English a lot. Also I want to see by myself all these beautiful places which I was reading in my course books about.
