Weather Affects People’s Mood
Weather is something we wake up and have to deal with every single day. This little thing that is not very many people think about affects their mood for the day. Weather has a significant impact on the emotions of individuals.
Weather is not just classified as hot or cold. When talking about mood and weather it is best to get very specific. Usually most people say cold weather makes them feel relaxed and comfortable so they want to be at home by the fireplace with a blanket watching television. It does not mean that they are in a bad mood because they want to be at home, it just means that they like being at home when it is really cold. A person like this might be in a bad mood though if they are not at home and that is where they really want to be.
Hot sweaty weather makes people feel a little cranky and tired. Most people do not like to sweat or be hot. So when they do start sweating or if it is over one hundred degrees they start feeling a little cranky and uncomfortable. Being sweaty and sticky makes people feel tired and when people are tired it just makes them be in a bad mood. Now if it is hot but really windy that is a different story for most people. People do not mind the hot as much if it is really windy. The wind blowing makes everything better, and makes people feel more relaxed. When the wind is blowing people actually want to get outside instead of sitting in the house all day. Hot days with the wind are when people want to exercise mostly. When people exercise they are in a good mood because they feel like they have accomplished something. Also when people exercise they feel successful which makes them in a really good mood.
Rainy and stormy days are the worst days for most people but some people enjoy the rain. When it is raining most people get gloomy and sad and want to stay home all day, because they do not want to get wet. If the sky is black most likely those are the worst days. The sky is sad so...
