I am writing to you regarding a possibility for me to become a student in your establishment. I plan to continue mastering foreign languages in the future and I am sure I can achieve my goals by entering your program.

I do not think that school leaving exams are necessary since the only thing they can indicate is the ability of students to answer questions in specific subjects. However, General Testing for all the students in the country is a good thing since it helps us show our knowledge and enter a college without additional exams. To some point, testing cannot show the real expertise and skills of a student; that is why the essay part is necessary.
