I'm sorry that your laptop is broken. Yes nowadays people depend on computers, but there is another side of that. So many people need a computer to work or to study. Also, it can be used to kill time. However, we usually use computers for our needs, don't we? I totally agree about the dependent and all of us know that computers are harmful.
I usually spend on computer about 3 hours, but when I have some projects, I spend on it about 8 hours! I know it's not good, but it's required. As I said, we use that for work also for entertainment. Using computers so much also can be the reason of its broken. Professionals in HR needs a computer to do their work and it makes their work easier. In my opinion it's only one of advantages of computers. In my view, people that work on call centers needs excellent computer skills due to their routine.
